The Guidelines for The Baby Bowl Experiment:

1. The meal has to fit in the bowl, up to the rim. I can, however, go beyond the rim with fruits and vegetables.
2. I can eat whatever I want.
3. I can have more than one bowl of food but I have to wait 20 minutes between each bowl.
4. I have to chew the food as close to a liquid state as possible.
5. Only water.

(For additional information about these guidelines, see Days 2 and 27.)

Day 48 - April 10 - (just the facts)

Meaningful Movement: Pulling my daughter, and all our equipment, in her wagon during the air show on Eglin AFB.

Foods that fit in a baby bowl, day 48:
-one scrambled egg with ketchup
NOTE: My baby girl cooked at the stove for the first time (with mommy at her side, of course) so I was DEFINITELY going to eat these eggs. She did an AWESOME job!
-Emerald Trail Mix, S'Mores Blend
NOTE: This box comes with 6 packets and it's DELICIOUS. The only disappointment is they packaged TWO servings per bag! Keep that in mind! I shared this bag with Marianne.
-AT THE AIR SHOW (over a 4 hour period): 1/2 a cheeseburger, 1/2 nachos, 1 hot dog, 3 bites of a cherry snow cone, 6 chips with cheese
NOTE: I know this is pretty bad but there aren't a lot of choices. No one was selling veggie kabobs, you know what I mean? Plus, I didn't get what I probably would've gotten before: funnel cakes and m&m's ice cream sandwich. We also brought our own water.
-whole wheat crackers, cheddar cheese, pepperoni
NOTE: Yeek! I just looked up the calories on this and it's almost 600 calories! I need to cut this snack down by HALF! (I'm not yet ready to give it up completely.)
-1/2 filet of swai fish, couscous and roasted asparagus/onions
NOTE: This is turning into one of my FAVORITE meals! You can get frozen swai fish at Sam's and 1/2 a filet is a baby bowl serving. It is DELICOUS and is along the lines of tilapia.
